Welcome to Whizz Kids! At Hope City Church we are commited to creating a safe and fun environment for our 2 - 13 years olds. We love spending time with the most significant generation on Earth, equipping them to live significant lives for God.
It’s an amazing revolution for all 2 – 13 year olds in Sheffield. Kids love playing games, creating things, making noise, meeting friends and giggling lots. Whizz Kids provides the opportunity to do just that – and more! Everything we do is fun and exciting and we’d love you to be part of the adventure.
We have a fantastic creche also available for all 0-2's on Sunday's during our services. Come to the Whizz Kids Desk on Sunday morning for more information or to check out the facilities.

Here are the details of what happens each week and all our special events designed especially for 0-10's...
WHIZZ KIDS SUNDAYS - EVERY SUNDAY 9:15am, 11am and 6pm
Whizz Kids 2-4s
Your child will be entertained as they join in Bible stories, sing, dance and play. They will enjoy a time in our indoor play area and get messy making colourful crafts. We are committed to ensuring your child's safety, so please help us out by using your collection tickets.
Whizz Kids 5-9's
9:15am & 11am Services
This is where we explore how to live for Jesus at home, in school and at play. We also play games, worship, pray and make friends. Our connect groups are perfect for your child to spend time with friends of their own age, as they apply God's word to their life.
6pm Service
Each week your child can dress up as a Bible Hero as they explore stories from their favourite book. They can also enjoy playing games, crafts, competitions, movies and more.
Ignite 10-13's
11am Service
Meeting each week, this is a chance for our young people to ignite their passion for God. They will love our relevant messages, lively discussions, competitions, challenges and prayer.
BUZZ KIDS UNITED | RETURNING IN SEPTEMBER

Whizz Kids have partnered with Buzz Schools Team to present to you Sheffield's biggest kids party. It is an evening of performances, dancing, singing, games, and challenges as well as our all-new GUNGE TANK! Join the Buzz Club gang on their latest adventure. Get involved in the fun, laughter and excitement as we travel the world, meet new friends and learn how to succeed in life!
WHIZZ FRIDAYS | RETURNING IN SEPTEMBER
At 6pm - 7.30pm £1 Entry
Whizz Fridays are a great chance to start the weekend with friends. Kids get the chance to play with puppets, skittles, table football, Nintendo Wii, Giant Connect 4, bouncy castle, craft and our indoor play centre. Your child can enjoy then incredible activities, ranging from circus skills to African drumming. Parents, you can come and join us or sit back, relax and enjoy a coffee.
Summer Splash | Saturday 24th July
11am till 1pm at Norfolk Park
Cost: £2
Are you ready to take on the Whizz Kids Olympics 2010? Get those running shoes on and come prepared for crazy challenges and an incredible adventure. Our Whizz Kids will be meeting at Norfolk Park from 11am till 1pm. Parents, feel free to stick around , relax in the sun and enjoy a burger as we will also be enjoying a BBQ.
Whizz Kids Summer Camp | Tues 10th to Fri 13th August
For 7-12 year olds
Adventure...... and beyond!
Get ready for your summer to get turned upside down...as we bring you the long awaited, greatly anticipated ... Whizz Kids Summer Camp.
Your child cannot miss out on this, the adventure of the year. Be prepared to make lasting memories, laugh until you cry and be challenged by incredible activities, including raft building, climbing and abseiling.
It's a time of sheer excitement and discovery for all kids aged 7 to 12, as we whizz forward in our relationships with God.

All staff and volunteers are CRB checked, trained and experienced. They are all members of Hope City Church. If you have any questions feel free to ask any of the volunteers to point you in the right direction or EMAIL US
Whizz Creche are welcome in our inviting Cradle Room during the preaches in both services in Sheffield. We have breast and bottle feeding facilities, fabulous age-specific toys and access to the main service via our live link. Staff are well experienced and would love to meet you and your precious baby. Ask at reception for details.
Whizz 2-4's meet during each Hope City Church service in the MegaNursery. We'll be learning all about the life of Jesus followed up by fantastic crafts and a snack. It's a great opportunity for your children to make friends.
To help you really enjoy your church experience, you can register your child as soon as you arrive at the Whizz Kids Registration desk in reception. There your child will receive a warm welcome and you can pick up a Whizz Kids newsletter, which will let you all that's going on in Whizz Kids over the next month.
