City Hearts has a wonderful team made up of dedicated people who have chosen to spend their lives helping to lift others up!!
Jenny Gilpin - Founder and Executive Director
Jenny, also the Senior Pastor of Hope City Church with her husband Dave, has one teenage son Ryan. Jenny was adopted from birth and has always had a dream in her heart to have a home for young women with life controlling issues to see them free and to become everything they can be. Jenny launched City Hearts five years ago and continues to be involved in the lives of the young women in the programme.
Siobhan Bullock - Managing Director
BA (Hons) Applied Social Studies.
Siobhan is involved in the day to day oversight and leadership of City Hearts. Her experience in leadership and also her heart to see young women's lives restored means she loves every minute of it! Siobhan's own broken background gives her understanding of some of the issues faced by the young women and also a real heart to see wholeness in their lives.
Colleen Brownlee - Project Development Manager
Registered Managers Award; Certificate in Counselling.
Colleen oversees the development of the City Hearts Project with the Support Services, the Franchise, and women rescued from exploitation. Colleen shares a great understanding of women who have been controlled by life issues and after gaining her own personal breakthroughs in life she now lives to see other young women become whole and find a real inner contentment.
Karen Bianchi - Project Manager
Bsc (Hons) Speech and Language Therapy; Cert Substance Misuse Care and Counselling; NVQ L3 Health and Social Care.
Karen practically manages the project on a day to day basis. Karen leads a great team of staff and volunteers and her experience in leadership and in working with vulnerable young women brings great strength to City Hearts.

Louise Durham - Assistant Project Manager + Phase 2 Co-ordinator

Louise spent huge amounts of time volunteering in the project way before she came on staff, showing her passion to invest into the lives of others. Louise is a determined young woman with a big heart to see girls succeed.
Esther Cheale - Senior Project Worker + Phase 1 Co-ordinator
Ad Dip Nursing Studies.
Esther has always loved volunteering in the project and at the soonest moment possible we snapped her up to be on staff! Esther is fun, creative, organised and has a genuine concern for the young women whose lives we are here to help.
Kat Waud - Phase 3 Co-ordinator

Kat is a woman with a great passion to see lives restored and young women living their life to the full potential. Kat's enthusiasm and creativity ensure there's never a dull moment!

After volunteering for almost a year, Lydia joined the staff team to pioneer the Support Services. With her experience working with vulnerable people and her dedication to the women in the project, Lydia is a fabulous addition to the team.

Anita is a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist and provides psychological therapy to each of the young women in the City Hearts Project. With years of experience and a great heart to see lives changed and turned around Anita is a great asset to the team.

Emma is the woman who has the almost impossible job of coordinating everyone and keeping everything running smoothly! Emma does this with style, grace and a good touch of humour. Thanks Emma for making the team look good!
