Behind all of our church services are teams of people who make sure that the environment is just right for people to hear from God as His word is preached.
All our teams are dedicated to serving God and seeing his church extended. We'd love you to be involved. Our commitment to you is to train and equip you in the role and to help you to grow in God through the process. It's all about people at the end of the day. We ask that whatever you commit to, you stick with it for a minimum of three months to start with. We're keen to move you on and see you develop in church life and see your potential and gifting put to the best use across all we do.

Host Team
Our Hosts help to create the perfect environment within our main auditorium for people to give and gain the most from our services and events. By helping to seat and look after people well, distribute the communion, collect and count the offerings and make the room look as good as it can, they play a vital role in making a way for God to move in people's lives.
Welcome Team
Welcome is right at the forefront of our agenda. We want to help our new people and vistors be completely at ease and totally loved from the moment they walk through our doors. Our welcome teams not only say 'Hi!' to people, they aim to connect people into the life of the church in whatever way is most appropriate to them. For some it might be test driving a Connect Group or for others it might be going through our "I Said Yes" foundation course. Most importantly it's making every new person feel totally loved and accepted.
Buzz Kids' Teams
During services we provide a great programme for our children. Buzz caters for children up to 10 years old and includes Buzz Babies for 0-2s, Buzz Juniors (3-4s) and Buzz Kids 5-10's, each providing a great environment for kids to learn about God and grow up to be great men and women of God.
Production Team
We live in a multi-media age and want to create a church which reflects this and communicates Christ at the same time. Our tech team make it all happen through sound, lighting and multimedia. Whether it's projecting the words for the songs or mixing the music for our Hope City Band, there's plenty of ways to express your techy flare.
Hospitality Team
A drink and a snack goes a long way towards creating a family atmosphere before and after our services. Our hospitality team are not there to merely serve drinks, but to share hospitality. Our Impressions Cafe is our extra special place to spoil our visitors and guests with a complimentary drink and a big smile.
Reception Team
In Sheffield our reception team is there to provide all sorts of information for people coming into church. They've been asked everything from service times to bus times and they are there to be a mind of information to help steer people into the family life of the church. If someone needs to know something, then reception is the place to visit. (Reception and Resources are combined in Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle)
Resources Team
Our 'Megastuff' team are there to resource people with excellent material. Whether it's the latest book, CD or DVD or the most recent messages from our very own Hope City team, there's plenty of opportunity to see people empowered to live an amazing life for God.
Security Team
At our Megacentres we aim to create a safe and secure place where people from all walks of live can come and experience God. Our security teams look after our building and our people throughout our services and even come into the centres during the week if they can to help us look after what God has given us.
Car Parking Team
We want the warmth of our welcome to be felt from the moment people arrive at church. That's why we have our car park stewards waiting to take the stress out of finding somewhere to park. This is a great place to put your servanthood into practice.
Bus Team
In Sheffield we have the amazing privilege and opportunity to be able to bus in kids from the local estates. For many of these kids this is the only opportunity they get to hear about Jesus, so we love picking them up and taking them home in our Mega Minibus.
